Hi! I'm Raul Barreto, a 31-year-old Software Engineer. I was born and raised in Recife, Brazil, and in 2021, I moved to Essen, Germany, where I am currently based. Currently, I am working at Adacor, where I focus on building robust and scalable software solutions.

My journey in technology has spanned across various roles, including Site Reliability Engineering at Delivion GmbH and Systems Analysis at Neurotech. I have a strong background in computer engineering and a keen interest in modern web technologies, system architecture, and performance optimization.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the Universidade de Pernambuco, where I developed a solid foundation in software development and problem-solving.

When I'm not coding, you can find me exploring the latest in tech, contributing to open-source, or documenting my learnings here on this blog.
